The pool area was a slice of paradise, and the self-catering facilities made our stay super easy!

The pool area offered a relaxing experience, perfect for unwinding after the day. the room had a faint damp smell, which was unpleasant.

Walking into the apartment was disappointing due to a strong smell of dampness and visible mold patches on the wall. The creaky bed and damp bedding added to the discomfort, making it a struggle to enjoy the stay. no ladders to access the pool hindered ease of use, especially for those with mobility issues like knee problems.

The larger than average fridge and great kitchenette meant we could feed ourselves and saved lots of money for tours and extras.

The common room was a tad sombre and lacking much in the way of diversions.

Family with children paradise

The pool area was perfect for kids and adults alike, had these shallow areas for the little ones to splash around, and I enjoyed a nice swim while keeping an eye on my family. Anne, wow, she really helped us figure out what to do around here, giving us tips on family-friendly activities and where to grab some decent coffee.

It was a bit pricey but worth it for the experience.

I had a wonderful experience at Freestyle Resort Port Douglas. The warm welcome from Anne made me feel right at home, and my One-Bedroom Apartment was impeccably clean with everything I needed. The location was perfect, just a short stroll from shops and the beach.

The One-Bedroom Apartment with Garden View was super comfy and clean. Loved the balcony where I could chill and watch the birds. Air con worked great, and the kitchen setup made it easy to whip up dinners after a long day. The shower was nice and spacious too. Just a bit of rain, but the space felt cozy regardless!

Absolutely loved my stay! The outdoor pool and beautiful garden area were perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring. The only downside was the slightly noisy air conditioning, but it didn’t put a damper on my experience at all. 🌴
